Re: Love.Love.Love
Love is like the air we breathe. It may not always be seen, but it is always felt, used and needed.

Love Explained
Q1: scientifically speaking, what is love?
A: Given the large number of studies about this complex emotion, love can
probably be defined as a cascading series of emotional responses that arise
from the complex interplay between genetic and psychological factors and the
action of hormones and other neurochemicals that circulate in the body.
Q2: Why do I act crazy when I'm in love?
A: Blame it serotonin. When you're in love, serotonin drops to unusually low
levels, making you prone to develop OCD; anxiety and depression are two of its
symptoms. A study showed that 40% of people who are rejected in love slip into
clinical depression. In men, low serotonin levels have the effect of making
them more sexually active.
Q3: What are the stages of love?
A: According to Dr. Helen Fisher of Rutgers University in New Jersey, love is
governed by biochemical processes in the brain and it develops into 3 stages:
Stage 1: Lust is driven by the s** hormones, estrogen and
testosterone, which play a major role in revving up your s** drive. Dr. Fisher
eloquently describes this stage as the period when these hormones "get you
out looking for anthing."
Stage 2: Attraction (Love struck phase) is best characterized by
a line from a popular Tagalog song: "...di na makakain, di na
makatulog," as the love-afflicted prefers to spend long hours daydreaming
about that special someone. This stage is governed by the following
neurotransmitters:
Stage 3: Attachment is governed by two hormones that play a role
in social attachments, namely:

neurotransmitters:
- Dopamine, a chemical known to affect
emotions, is released during naturally rewarding experiences like sex. - Norepinephrenine (andrenalin), causes clammy hands,
sweating and racing heart beat. - Serotonin causes "temporary
insanity" in the lovestruck.
Stage 3: Attachment is governed by two hormones that play a role
in social attachments, namely:
- Oxytocin is primarily known for
causing milk to flow during breastfeeding. This hormone is released by
both males and females during orgasm and is believed to promote bonding.
It is theorized that the more s** a couple have, the deeper and closer
their bond becomes. - Vasopressin plays a very important role
in the long-term commitment stage.

Researchers offer the ff suggestions for you to be able to attract
that special someone:
- Always maintain eye-to-eye contact
- Match their moves through the process called
"mirroring." People tend to get carried attracted to someone who
sits or stands in the same way they do, and copy each other's gestures. - Don't play too hard-to-get or become too
flirty. Studies have shown that men tend to chase choosy women more. - Dates with an element of fear are
likely to be more successful than a candlelight dinner-date. People who
experience fear, such as what is seen during theme-park dates, often
misinterpret their fear (nervousness) as a feeling of love

Love is when you flunk an AC Finals after five straight (almost) sleepless nights of studying and you wont even consider shifting because you still feel like continuing, just to fail another test and you start all over again.

Re: Love.Love.Love
LOVE is a possible obligation that arises from past event and whose existence will be confirmed only by the occurrence or nonoccurence of one or more uncertain future events not wholly within the control of the entity.

Re: Love.Love.Love
Love is only an emotion. An impulse generated by the brain that takes over and most often paralyzes one's entire being.
